TREE CLIMBER/GROUNDSMAN

We are currently looking for a reliable, experienced tree climber/groundsman with a minimum of 2 years experience on a tree crew.

Stay close to home. We work primarily in Frederick County, MD Monday-Friday. We do our best to offer year-round work, weather permitting.

Pay based on experience and work ethic. We believe in paying a living wage to someone who is willing to apply themselves and be an asset. ($30-$70/hr for someone who truly meets all of this description).

You would have the opportunity to climb most days and/or be a groundsman, depending on the job and your comfort level with the tree/job. We utilize technical rigging; the ideal candidate will have some knowledge and experience with this both in the tree and on the ground and a desire to grow and improve their skill in this area.

          Job Requirements:
 

• Climb trees (pruning & removals)

• Groundsman (if not climbing)

• Move brush & wood to chipper or truck (we use a mini-skid for most of that; must be willing to operate or learn to operate for production) 

• Operate chipper safely and efficiently

• Raking/cleanup/operate a backpack blower (we take great care in our cleanup)

• MUST be RELIABLE, show up prepared for work consistently, communicate in a timely manner

• Diligent, hard-working, self-motivated, takes initiative to produce in a fast-paced & physical work environment

• Have valid Driver's License & own transportation to work, CDL a plus, but not required

• MD LTE and/or ISA Certified a plus, but not required
